Carpenter ants can be a very common and destructive force when they work their way into a home or other structure. Once they take up residence and build a nest inside of a building the results can be devastating. A colony of carpenter ants can wreak havoc by digging or using powerful jaws to bore smooth tunnels through woodwork.
